Hi all! MyShop version 1.7.0 is now available on the iTunes AppStore. I hope you enjoy it
Some of you have problems with the current version 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 of MyShop [LITE] on iOS 4. The App is complaining about an old version of the shop plugin, which isn’t true. A workaround is to reboot the iPhone. Most users say that the problem is gone after that, but some are reporting that the error is thrown again and again.
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this behavior neither on the iPhone simulator nor on all my testing devices. So I can only read the support emails from you and guess what the cause for this problem could be.
Currently I submitted another potential bugfix release (version 1.6.2) to Apple. I hope that it will be available soon.
Sorry for these circumstances!
Version 1.6.0 now supports iOS4 multitasking and the new iPhone 4 retina display.
If you have problems running MyShop after upgrading to iOS 4, please follow the instructions in the FAQ’s. (“I updated to iOS 4 and the App crashes right after start.”)
I already fixed the App and submitted it to Apple. The update will also include support for multitasking and new graphics in higher resolution for the new iPhone 4 retina display.
Version 1.5.2 of MyShop is now available on the AppStore. It brings search functions for orders and customers, xtCommerce support (experimental) and better reportings (daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales report).
Important:
Version 1.5.1 had a bug which caused login problems on some systems (“host not reachable”). If you had login issues with the last version, please update to version 1.5.2!
Today I submitted version 1.4.1 of MyShop and MyShop LITE to Apple.
The most important change is that it now supports stores with double authentication (standard osCommerce and additional .htaccess authentication).
I hope that it will be released soon.
Have fun!
Update 2010-03-02: The App is now available at the AppStore!
If you have an own shop system you can now have your own branded version of MyShop for your customers!
Apple had switched all my apps to state “pending contract” some days before xmas, even though I renewed my contract two months ago.
Now, after more than three weeks of waiting for an answer to my mails, Apple apparently found my contract somewhere in a drawer and set my apps back to “ready for sale”. Hallelujah!
By the way: now I’m back as an iPhone developer, I need your input for the next updates. The poll (see below) is still open!
